We were able to take a few fun vacations this summer. We starting out camping in the Uintahs at Lost Creek where we went canoeing and hiking.
It turns out Kate loved to paddle the canoe. She did a great job!
We also were able to make up to Bear Lake. As you can see we wore the kids out at the beach.
While up there we also went through Minnetonka Cave. Blake's favorite part was watching the squirrels at the cave entrance.
Out next adventure was a trip up north through Montana to Yellowstone. Here are some pictures of the kids playing at a museum Aunt Jamie took us too. It was so much fun! Thanks again for letting us stay with you!
This was an amazing waterfall Bryce took us to. (I can't remember the name now. Oops. Maybe Palisade Falls?)
Of course, the splash park was a huge hit.
Along with feeding the ducks.
Fire Hole Falls
You'd think our trip was done but it was only just beginning. We spent another day and a half in Yellowstone with the kids. In retrospect we probably should have waited until they were a little older. But they were pretty good considering. They loved the geysers at the paint pots most of all.
Mammoth Falls
Yellowstone Falls
The only wildlife we saw in the park. That's right, two buffalo on the road is all we saw.
Here we are waiting the Old Faithful to go off and the kids were having fun playing on these fallen trees.
On the way home we stayed in Jackson Hole and went down the alpine slide at snow king. Kate also got to go on a horse back ride. Kevin and I took turns leading the horse. Who was apparently very hungry.
